AI for AR - ARchie: ARInsights' AI Dynamo to Elevate Your AR Game
ARchie ranks higher as a next generation AR tool over ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity
To test which generative AI tools would be useful for analyst relations (AR) professionals to add to their toolboxes I recently conducted a side-by-side comparison of four chatbots. I did this comparison in the context my project to generate the latest in my in-depth AR best practices documents. Methodology:
· Topic: “AR Best Practices Workbook: Recorded Briefing for Major Report Edition”
· Prompts: 13 with exact wording used for each chatbot
· Prompt refinement: Used ChatGPT to review and refine the prompts
Chatbots tested and output:
· Anthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet Pro (7,140 words)
· ARInsights ARchie (6,541 words)
· OpenAI ChatGPT 4o Plus (13,564 words)
· Perplexity Pro (5,515 words)
Background: What is ARchie? ARchie is a free, public-facing AI chatbot designed by ARInsights to showcase the power of artificial intelligence in the AR field. Available 24/7 on ARInsights' website, ARchie serves as a no-cost resource for the AR community, synthesizing vast quantities of AR information and providing rapid, tailored responses to AR pros' questions and challenges. ARchie is also now available in ARchitect for users to leverage in one seamless interface.
In my side-by-side analysis, ARchie consistently provided better AR-specific information and insights than Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Why? In my briefing with ARInsights CEO Howard Kogan and their response to my questionnaire there was one main reason for ARchie’s superior execution: the source of information used to build the repository. Rather than just pulling from all available information on the internet like the Large Language Models (LLM), ARInsights curated the sources: ARInsights blog, IIAR>, partners’ blogs, LinkedIn content, and content pieces that are highly trafficked as AR resources. ARInsights evaluated the highly trafficked AR resources through Google and evaluated them for quality. Better inputs drive better outputs.
Recommendation: AR pros should bookmark ARchie and use it as an everyday tool for brainstorming and when developing AR strategy, tactics, plans, and best practices.
Of course, this evaluation is subjective based on my experience as an AR pro, a Gartner & Ovum analyst, and what resonated with me. Your mileage may vary so I encourage you to do your own side-by-side comparison project.
Questions for the AR community
1) Are there other AR chatbots I should be aware of and test?
2) Which gen AI tools have you found useful for AR work?
3) Have you used ARchie? If so, what is your impression?
