On Friday, June 27, 2025, Datalere announced it has acquired Eckerson Group, combining two data management-focused consulting and thought leadership firms. Going forward, Datalere is the brand with the Eckerson Group URL now redirects to the Datalere website.
Neither firm has a vendor evaluation signature deliverable like the Gartner Magic Quadrant or IDC MarketScape. That said, both firms have influenced end user and vendor strategy in the data management space through their consulting practices and will continue to do so.
